Will you post my session online?

Short answer, only if you tell me it’s okay!

Longer answer, I always ask for consent to share your images online, and if you say yes, that’s awesome, and if it’s a no then I will gladly respect your wishes. Honestly, I do not care if you say no, it doesn’t hurt my feelings in that I understand everyone is entitled to their privacy. Got a new job and don’t want those boudoir photos up anymore? No fucking problem, I’ve archived lots of my own at this point because creeps be creepin! The internet can be a scary place, so if you have any doubts, or if you change your mind later on about already posted photos no worries, we’ll sort it out. :)

I’m new to this, what should I expect?

Treat our session like you’re hanging out with a friend; No judgements, no rules, just allow yourself to be free and open to the experience. I will hype you up and try to make you laugh and get to know you throughout our communication and time together; creative planning and a successful photo session depend on our trust and good rapport with one another. At the end of our session my hope is for you to walk away feeling uplifted/confident; I want to show people that photoshoots are a fun and artistic way to express yourself! Above all, I try to cultivate a comfortable environment for all my sessions, for everyone who graces me and my camera with their presence. I just want everyone to fall in love with photography, and themselves.

How do i book my wedding date?

I am so honored you’re considering me to photograph your wedding! I would greatly appreciate it if you took a little time and filled out this form to provide some details about your wedding or event date, and I’ll follow up to schedule a time to chat. Meetings can be held online, on the phone, or over coffee. It’s always quite beneficial to get to know the people you’re trusting with a day this precious. Once we get to know each other a little bit we’ll see if working together will be a good fit or not! If you decide you would like to move forward with securing the date I will send you my contract for review and submission, as well as a request for a 50% retainer to hold the date, after that we can start talking deets!

what are your travel fees?

I base my travel fees off where I am going, how I’m getting there, if I need to find lodging and etc. If I;m driving I base it off the miles I’m traveling both ways, my car’s mileage and the current gas price, plus any amenities I may need like snacks for the trip. If we’re talking across state lines and airfare is in order, all travel would be invoiced to the client.

Do you serve the LGBTQIA+ community?

You bet I do! No one should ever be subjected to that kind of hate but unfortunately there’s still a lot of unenlightened assholes out there who just don’t get it. No one should be made felt to be less than for who they love, how they love, or why. It’s truly none of anyone’s business, unless you want it to be, which is where I come in! Let me provide a comfortable space for you to be yourself so I can capture your magic on camera.

how long do you store my images?

Currently, I only offer online storage for 6 months at no charge. I will keep your raw files as well for that 6 month period where you’ll have ample time to suggest alternative edits of images if you wish. After that I will delete the original folder and keep your edits until I no longer need them, but typically I keep at least 1 backup of all edited delivered shots for my own purposes. If you prefer for your gallery to be stored online longer than the 6 months, we can do so for a nominal yearly fee.

*I highly recommend you backup your photos at least 2x-3x on physical drives like SSD’s (solid state hard drive), flash (thumb) drives are okay but only for moving files or temporary storage. Having a digital backup is recommended too, Google drive offers free 15gb storage for each account just fyi. I have the 2TB plan on one of my accounts 👻

how many photos will i receive?

Let me just say this first, quality over quantity, people! Buuut if I had to narrow it down I did the math one day and let me tell you I hate math but on average for weddings, anywhere from 500-800 photos, elopements 300-500 photos. For events like a theater performance or concert, it just depends on what’s going on, but around 150-250 photos, maybe more, probably not less. For standard duration (1-2 hours) portrait photoshoots, couples sessions, etc., around 50-150+ photos, and for mini sessions you will get about 10-30, maybe more if I’m feeling generous or you’re a repeat customer and I love you.

DO YOU PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL UNEDITED RAW IMAGE FILES?

The photos I carefully selected out of all the images I took will be just as carefully edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness and color tones to achieve an overall vision. Editing is a standard process for all digital photographers and therefore no, I do not provide any unedited RAW image files, ever. Point-blank-period, never ask me again, thank you.

WILL I HAVE FULL OWNERSHIP TO THE PHOTOS?

Yes, once delivered, you have the rights to do whatever you would like with the photographs. I do, in my contract, ask for credit by name for any clients or businesses that use my work for any public or marketing purposes on social media or print or publication.
